Sunset Treasury Ring

The Sunset Treasury ring was inspired by Rachel Jones' travels to Hawaii, and the stunning tropical scenery and sunsets she saw there. The central 1.8ct hexagonal sapphire has flashes of blue, green and yellow and is surrounded by complementary tiny blue, green and yellow diamonds. The gems are set in softly textured 18ct yellow gold, which is reminiscent of the golden sandy beaches. 

This design was created exclusively for the Gill Wing Treasury and truly is one of a kind.

The Designer

Since completing her MA in 2018 from London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, Rachel Jones has continued to research and experiment with gold in order to create bespoke colours and alloys of gold.

Working from her studio in Islington, Rachel creates one of a kind pieces made from her own alloyed gold combined with special hand selected gemstones.

Over the past decade, Rachel Jones has gained experience in many aspects of the jewellery industry from working for notable jewellers Lin Cheung, Ruth Tomlinson, Mark Nuell and Romilly Saumarez Smith to teaching and consulting at Bishopsland Educational Trust.

Jewellery Care

To look after your jewellery we recommend it must not be worn in the bath, shower or whilst swimming and we advise any perfume or hairspray is to be applied before putting on your jewellery to avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics. Please remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities such as sport.
