These stunning and sophisticated award winning earrings each have an elegant white marquise diamond totalling 0.31cts and a long drop of 18ct gold made up of green lemon, yellow, pink, rose, and red gold. Rachel has explored and experimented with different proportions of the three key metals found in gold alloys; fine gold, fine silver and copper, to create her own 18ct gold.

Earring length approx 5cm

Goldsmiths' Craft & Design Council (GCDC) awarded these earrings a silver award for Wire Innovation sponsored by the worshipful company of gold and silver Wyre drawers. "The subtle graduation of colour enraptured the judges. It was commented that the mystery behind the technique used made these earrings outstanding."

The diamond is the traditional birthstone of April and holds significant meaning for those born in that month, thought to provide the wearer with better relationships and an increase in inner strength. Wearing diamonds is purported to bring other benefits such as balance, clarity and abundance. It is also the gem that married people traditionally gift on their 60th wedding anniversary.
