Dimensions Treasury Ring

Four geometric gemstones are set in elegant 18ct yellow gold rub-over settings to form this contemporary ring. The ring features a 2.5mm warm brown brilliant cut diamond, a stunning teal green pear cut tourmaline measuring 6.5mm x 5mm, a periwinkle blue marquise tanzanite measuring 6.5mm x 3mm, and a 3mm warm white brilliant cut diamond.

'Dimensions' demonstrates the purity of form that epitomises Rachel Jones' style.  Angles and asymmetry are perfectly balanced in this immaculately crafted one off creation for the Treasury at Gill Wing. We commissioned Rachel to envisage an aesthetic inspired by the Bauhaus movement. She has realised a combination of forms that speak of colour and geometry in harmony.

The Designer

Since completing her MA in 2018 from London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, Rachel Jones has continued to research and experiment with gold in order to create bespoke colours and alloys of gold.

Working from her studio in Islington, Rachel creates one of a kind pieces made from her own alloyed gold combined with special hand selected gemstones.

Over the past decade, Rachel Jones has gained experience in many aspects of the jewellery industry from working for notable jewellers Lin Cheung, Ruth Tomlinson, Mark Nuell and Romilly Saumarez Smith to teaching and consulting at Bishopsland Educational Trust.

Jewellery Care

To look after your jewellery we recommend it must not be worn in the bath, shower or whilst swimming and we advise any perfume or hairspray is to be applied before putting on your jewellery to avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics. Please remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities such as sport.
