In the Middle Ages the gem was believed to protect those close to you from harm and also represented loyalty and trust. The Designer
Made by hand in her San Francisco studio since 1991, Betsy Barron's collection draws inspiration from artifacts of industry and the natural world to create an aesthetic that's classic, elegant, and earthy. Incorporating found textures and objects, and drawing inspiration from mythology and the transformative forces of nature, her work is elegant and modern with a warm organic sensibility.
