The Designer
Bea Jareno is an independent Fine and Demi-fine Jewellery Designer Maker graduated with Distinctions from Kensington and Chelsea college in London. Bea moved to St John's Cass Department of Art and Design to study hand engraving and stone setting, and a business development at the UAL. Bea established BJ Jewellery studio in 2006.
BJ Jewellery is lovingly fully handcrafted in Bea's West London Atelier by the iconic Notting Hill. She is proud to create one of a kind limited edition pieces of contemporary jewellery with recycled sterling silver and gold, paying great attention to detail and experimenting in contrasting colours, patterns and textures. Utilising traditional hand build jewellery making techniques, mono-casting lost wax, sand casting and repurpose melting techniques.
She celebrates the imperfections in materials which, in her view, become perfect for they hold a unique beauty. She's also deeply passionate about breathing new life into cherished heirloom jewels through restoration and repurposing.
Jewellery Care
To look after your jewellery we recommend it must not be worn in the bath, shower or whilst swimming and we advise any perfume or hairspray is to be applied before putting on your jewellery to avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics. Please remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities such as sport.
Gold vermeil is a thick layer of 22 or 24ct gold over 925 sterling silver, while the gold will not fade, it may tarnish if in contact with cosmetics.
