Lynne MacLachlan creates colourful and joyful jewellery and sculptures by exploring the capabilities of digital tools and materials, using bespoke software tools and 3D printing to materialise her complex, creative forms. Combining these tools with meticulous hand finishing techniques, such as dyeing, polishing and silver components, she elevates the jewellery to become artful pieces of contemporary cutting-edge design that endure.
After a degree in aerospace engineering, Lynne studied jewellery and metalwork design, with a desire to reconnect with materials and making. Her combined skills result in these striking kinetic pieces of wearable art.
