Spessartite Sandworm Strand Earrings

These solid 9ct yellow gold earrings are set with rare orange spessartite garnets, known as the "garnet of the sun" and chosen to represent warm rays reflecting on the golden sand. The golden shapes represent wiggles created in the sand, to form these elegant yet playful stud earrings. Made specially for the Poetry In Ocean showcase.

The Designer 

Lizzy Manders from ERM Studios studied jewellery at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art. Lizzy works directly with the precious metals to create her sculptural abstract jewellery inspired by rippling sandcasts found on the beach. 

Jewellery Care 

To look after your jewellery we recommend it must not be worn in the bath, shower or whilst swimming and we advise any perfume or hairspray is to be applied before putting on your jewellery to avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics. Please remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities such as sport.
