South Sea Pearl Pendant
A beautiful large golden peach coloured South Sea pearl pendant hanging on a pretty sterling silver Spiga chain. South Sea pearls are prized for their large size and thick nacre layer which makes them super lustrous, and can take from three to five years to cultivate.
Chain length 18 inches, pearl diameter approx 1.5cm.
Pearls, the birthstone of June, have long been associated with purity, humility and innocence. So it may be said that the meaning of the June birthstone is "sweet simplicity". It is also the gem that married couples traditionally gift on their 30th wedding anniversary.
