French Knitted Belcher Chain Bracelet

French knitted belcher chain is used to create this beautiful tactile bracelet. Characterised by a slinky movement and feel to the skin, this chunky bracelet is a great statement piece with a handmade T bar clasp which has an imprinted pattern created using French knitted wire. Made from sterling silver with 22ct gold plating, and measues 7 inches long.

The Designer

Suzanne Claire creates jewellery in the Peak District, where textiles and needle crafts collide. Through time and experimentation, the two disciplines merged. Using silver chain, wire and sheet as alternatives to thread, wool and fabric, Suzanne handcrafts beautiful tactile French knitted, crocheted, embroidered and woven jewellery. Each piece is characterised by a slinky movement and feel to the skin, or is visually enlivened by the manipulation of the original surface texture. Splashes of colour are added through semi precious beads and threads, giving each creation a playful quality. These non-traditional jewellery making techniques help create Suzanne's distinctive, signature style.

Jewellery Care

To look after your jewellery we recommend it must not be worn in the bath, shower or whilst swimming and we advise any perfume or hairspray is to be applied before putting on your jewellery to avoid contact with chemicals and cosmetics. Please remove your jewellery before engaging in practical activities such as sport.
