Golden Temptress Ring
A truly mesmerising sweet pink sapphire, handpicked from an ethical gemstone supplier working with artisanal miners. Inspired by historical jewellery, such as Queen Victoria's engagement ring which also featured a snake, and symbolising eternity. The pink sapphires is a symbol of love, encircled by an 18ct yellow gold snake with a playful diamond glint in its eye. Designed by Momocreatura for the Treasury at Gill Wing.

Sapphire, the birthstone of September, is most desired in its pure, rich blue colour but is present in almost every colour including pink, yellow and green. In the Middle Ages the gem was believed to protect those close to you from harm and also represented loyalty and trust. It is also the gem that married couples traditionally gift on their 45th wedding anniversary.
Momocreatura’s jewellery explores the boundaries between reality and fantasy.
A member of the national association of jewellers, Momocreatura uses silver-smithing skills to create delicate pieces which bring to life traditional fairy stories and folk-tales. The silver and gold pieces are hand-crafted as wearable miniature sculptures full of character and dark humour. They captivate the imagination, inspired by stories which were originally intended to present moral queries, their characters often meeting a grisly fate in order to learn life lessons. With her delicate touch and precious materials, Momocreatura celebrates these fables in exquisite detail.
