Introducing the ‘Tesoro’ collection by Andrew Geoghegan, created in collaboration with Gill Wing Jewellery for The Treasury at Gill Wing, made from warm 18ct yellow gold, a stunning vivid green 0.57ct brilliant cut emerald and surrounded by twinkling white diamonds (0.17cts).

“Harmony between mathematical perfection and the beauty of nature, this design is based on the principles of an ancient formula discovered in nature by Fibonacci. Known as the golden ratio it is said to be the key to natural beauty and balance. For our very special ring collaboration Andrew Geoghegan has reimagined and refined the botanical into golden perfection in a completely unique design evoking the petals of a succulent plant. Breath-taking from all angles this elegant ring sparkles with 43 diamonds surrounding a stunning central emerald. It is is complemented beautifully by the matching wedding ring also available at Gill Wing, designed by Andrew in this collaboration."

The concept of using Fibonacci’s formula as inspiration came from Gill Wing’s love of botany and the flourishing tree fern in our hidden garden which overlooks our Islington jewellery gallery. We chose the name Tesoro which is Italian for “Treasure” as this is a ring to be discovered and cherished.

The Designer

Andrew Geoghegan’s path to fine jewellery began unconventionally, transitioning from sculpture to jewellery design—a shift that fuels his drive for originality and deeply personal pieces. Inspired by nature’s forms, from ocean waves to geometric patterns, his work balances bold aesthetics with intimate detail.

Renowned for precision, Andrew’s meticulous gem-setting and flawless metalwork have earned him accolades like ‘Designer of the Year.’ Yet, his true aim is to create jewellery that resonates emotionally and tells a personal story.

Splitting his time between France and Portugal, Andrew draws creative energy from the landscape, while recent training in emotional release therapy has deepened his ability to express feeling through design. His jewellery stands out for its fusion of technical mastery and emotional depth—crafted to capture both beauty and meaning.
